Xia Xia is set to land on Australian sand in 2012!

From the same genius, James Russell Hornsby, who created Zhu Zhu Pets, comes the phenomenon Xia Xia (pronounced Shah Shah).The “skitter-scattering, pitter-pattering, loveable and crazy crabs” are set to be the number one item on childrens’ wish lists for 2012. With the cheeky charm of real hermit crabs, children can create their own fantasy world of colour and collectability. Hunter Products will release the first four crabs, Bimini, Trinidad, Turks and Tobago early this year as well as a range of Carnivale themed accessories - The Confetti Cottage, Cocobabana Playset and Rio De Trio Village! The adorable crabs each have removable and collectable shells with a playful twist.
